Mercy Ministry RMCC’s Mercy Ministry is based on Romans 12:10-13: “Be devoted to one another in brotherly love, sharing Christ's love, as we share in afflictions and times of need.” The Mercy Ministry’s goals are to strive for unity as a church body as we serve one another and to strive for a cheerfulness in serving others. Romans 12:15 instructs that "in Christ, we who are many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others." Romans 12:8 "If [your gift] is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; and if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.” As an extended family, RMCC is organized to provide special care, prayer, and expressions of love to individuals and families with needs arising from hospitalization, newborn baby, funerals, support for single parents, emergencies, moving, food needs, and the like. |
