Our Nursery The RMCC nursery provides a valuable ministry to parents and young  children during the Sunday worship service and the Sunday school hour. Our very qualified youth workers serve in the nursery on a rotating schedule. Those that serve in this ministry are blessed with fellowship with one another and the children. RMCC needs additional people—ages 12 and up, boys and girls, dads and moms, uncles and aunts, grandpas and grandmas—willing to serve in the nursery.All workers in the nursery are screened and approved for youth work. The nursery ministry is run very thoroughly with scheduling expectations; caregiver ratios; a checkin-checkout log; nametags for everyone; directives for childcare, potty trips, and discipline; adequate supplies; opening and closing checklists. The Mother-Baby room is available for just that—mothers and their babies. It is a private place that nursing mothers can go to tend to their infants. Our intention is to keep the room dark and quiet—a perfect place to let babies take their morning naps. The crib room is located just off of the mother-baby room and can be utilized by the moms and by the nursery. Moms may leave their sleeping babies in the crib room if they let the nursery workers know that their baby is in there and the monitor is on.
